That's pretty much how we mounted our 2-way radio in our 2388. Only differences was our radios have the mic clip mounted to them & we ran the coax out & under the right hand door, then under the lower cab trim, & finally up the cab & mounted the antennae to the mirror arm tucking the coax behnd the rubber window molding
