| I doubt if the wider tires will help you that much. Our 2388 has 73x44x32.5s on the front & 18.4x26s on the rear. Once you get into soft mud it doesn't have the power to "spin" the tires like it needs to. Usually in real muddy conditions it powers out in 2nd & we then have to drop to first. The we have the power but not the tire speed we need. About the only difference I see than reg tires is that you leave a lot bigger rut :~(
Even with the bigger tres we can feel the front tires want to pull up out of the mud but the rear tires hold it back so it just drops back down. We're currently running a 7010 with the equivalent of 20.8x42 metric duals. tried running today after 3 1/4" of rain since Sunday. We didn't have any problems with the duals filling with mud and had plenty of power but still cut down to the plowsole & was pretty much done | |
