north central Oklahoma | We are usually done with eats, but still finishing off the wine/beer, and I don't mind if they take a little time to come back after bringing the bill, and it also gives me time to look the bill over. They do occasionally make mistakes, even the honest ones. One thing we never do is give our debit card to anyone that leaves our sight and takes card to the back. There is not as much protection as with a credit card. There may be some protection, but once the funds have illegally left your account, they are harder to get back into it. With a credit card, we just protest the charge and it gets reversed, we never see it on our statement again.
I think some people just need to stay home and eat more, they would have no one to complain about then. C'mon guys, give your waitstaff a little leeway. If ya haven't walked a mile in their shoes, then don't complain so loud. Just my two pesos, but I can jsut see myself spillin' stuff all over patrons on a regular basis. It takes a knack to be a good waiter/waitress. | |
