Macon, IL | Trading for a newer combine (Deere 9500)-that does not have yeild monitor.
I am still on the dinosaur YM2000 in my old combine butlike it very much-especially the mapping at EOY. But I figure with the cost of the harness being more than most monitors now is the time to upgrade.
I am leaning toward an Edge, can get one installed with harness for about $6,000-which probably is near the top of my budget.
Before I pull the trigger wanted to get any other feedback on options I may be overlooking.
Right now my only steps towards anything precision is the Raven Cruizer I use to run 440 spray controller. I have clutches on the planter but manually run them now-would like to automate that someday. I think the edge may help with that.
Open to any ideas.
