Young Farmer I would like to point out that 90% or more of the guys who use this forum are from the midwest and their weed spectrum and timing are going to have very little in common with your situation. This is a wonderful forum and I've learned a lot about machinery issues and such but the agronomic practices discussed on here bear little resemblence to the things that work for those of us in the Delta. I would recommend you talk to a consultant, respected farmer, or respected chemical salesman in your immediate area for advice on things like this. For what it's worth, our standard program is glyphosate and 2,4-D about the last week of January. It's hard to beat for the money.
