| Now that's along the lines of what I've been thinking. The new picker has hydraulically driven heads so why couldn't you hang 6 of those on front of one of the bigger 8000 tractors with dual wheels on front and somehow blow the cotton back to an accumulator that would then feed a big square or round baler? You may have to have an auxilliary pto hydraulic pump to drive it and some way to synchronize to ground speeed. You could have saddle tanks on the tractor for water. Wouldn't have to have on-board grease, just rig up a little trailer with a pump to grease when needed. I'm not much of a fabricator but I don't see why it couldn't be done by someone with the know-how. | |
