West Texas | I know back in the late 70's or early 80's that was on the drawing board. I think covering the cotton was a big issure because of areas that get a little more rain than our desert does. I think it has merit but because of the different locations with different problems it went by the wayside. If they could produce a self contained stripping unit for under $250,000 they couldn't build them fast enough. It won't be long before $250,00 won't buy a used tractor at the rate things are going. One thing you can count on is the price of cotton won't go up much more, | |
