if it is a mandatory tip. then i think there is sales tax added to it also, as part of the bill. if it is a voluntary tip, then no tax on that amount. i wish they would pay the help the full wage, and charge what they need to.
there should be a discount for large group. i don't see the reason for charging extra for a group.
