No, the wait staff in a lot of places don't get a full wage. Last time I checked into it, they got something like $2.35 an hour...the rest is expected to be supplied by patrons' tips.

I have always wondered how certain employers can get away with this. Doesn't the national minimum wage apply to every employee?
