SW Manitoba. | I agree with the customers. I am not a big believer in tipping. Why should you always have to tip? Does the waitress not get a wage? Why nnot tip the guy who pumps gas at gas station, why not tip the mail man in the city. Do you tip the maid for cleaning your hotel room? Nobody tips the guy who drives the snow plow to clear the road on a stormy morning at 4am so we can all drive safely. What has happened to the world when people feel they deserve a tip for doing the work they are already getting paid for. It is called a job, you get paid to it, and I pay the establishment for my purchase which should include any and all services.
I was in Australia a couple years ago, and there in simply no tipping required anywhere. Not only is it not expected, it is just not even an issue that is discussed. This post has now Pi$$ed me off and I am angry. GRRRRR!!! | |
