SW Manitoba. | We have two systems, one to heat our two story office, and one to heat a packaging area of our seed plant. Both systems work fine. The office system was installed over 10 years ago when it was cheap, and we didn't know what else to use to heat the large seed plant area.
I am building a new home and can't decide whether to spend the extra money. The total cost will be approaching $35,000 CDN funds to have goethermal. Factor in your interest on your money and you have to have some incredible savings on every hydro bill to make that pay. However, it is nice to have, and would probably pay for itself in time, and it comes with air conditioning as well. I should mention there are a few thousand in rabtes from the gov after you install it.
The question is, will it be wore out and needing repairs by the time it has covered its cost??
Anyone have any opinions. | |
