Subject: EZ-Boom on OLD Hardi sprayer

Central Kansas
We bought an older Hardi sprayer and are going to use it to spray some wheat this fall. We were thinking about putting an EZ-Boom on it to turn the boom sections off and on with GPS. We already run Trimble 500 in the tractor with auto pilot. The Hardi sprayer has three valves which take power (12v) to turn them on and then to turn them off it reverses the current (+ becomes - and - becomes +). I have read around that EZ-Boom does not support this kind of valve. Also read that you can make them work but need to put a DPDT relay on them. Right now the sprayer has a little box with three DPDT switchs to turn them off and on and a master valve the same way. We are not looking to throw to much at this project but if we could wire in some relays we can do that! Let me know what you think!!

We have been looking for a used EZ-Boom to put on it so if anyone has one for sale let me know. Thanks Josh
