Glasgow, Ky

Our government is very concerned about the stock market level as that is the first thing people look at to guage the status of the economy.  The consumer confidence level is highly influenced by the stock market as is consumer spending.

Much of the money the Fed is pumping into the economy is directly or indirectly influencing the stock market.  The government cannot afford for the stock market to go low and stay there.  If this happends the so called economic recovery will go up in flames.

The investment firms (especially Goldman Sach) and the government are in bed together on this thing.  GS has positioned themselves with the government to be able to make huge profits with little risk as they are calling the shots.  The taxpayers are footing the bill for this. The question is when will taxpayers decide they have had enough?  The second, and more important question, is can the taxpayers really do anything about it if they decide they have had enought?

That is why I am concerned about anything the investment firms are involved in.  Be it the stock market, commodities, etc.  They will win and when they win someone has to lose.
