Gilroy 35 Miles Over the Hill From Santa Cruz
Drill a hole above where you want the Jack - You should be able to see the Stud Nails from the top - Drill between the 4 nails 2 and 2 16" apart
Buy 20' of "Sash Chain" and drop in to that hole.
Sash Chain is the trick - if it piles up on some thing it will ALL trail through to the end when ANY part Starts
You might be able to come down in a closet - in your room or in a back room.
You might meet Fire Blocking about 1/2 way down the wall - in that case you might need to find the block and cut a slot in the dry wall 1" by 3" to get the chain around the block.
Dad uses 1/2 " rings (Plastic or metal) to mount the Trim Plate - cut a Plug size hole in the dry wall - use Paneling glue to hold the ring in place.
Now you or your kid and reach in the wall to grad the chain or cable
