IIRC, Outback uses a bang-bang (on/off) valve, which is different from Trimble's infinitely-variable pulse-width modulated valve. Even if you were able to get it hooked up, the performance would not be the same, and you would be unable to get support from anyone. Trimble would say "it's the valve", and Outback would say "it's the controller".
