Valley, NE
lmao, i'm sure everyone has a story of some of their cows getting out, here is mine:

my brother bought a heifer from a grad student that had the animal in colorado, long story short, the grad student's folks brought the heifer to the university and housed her overnight in one of the pens (UNL in lincoln,NE) the heifer is as tame and broke to lead as any expeirenced show heifer would be, but someone forgot to shut a gate or two and come 3 a.m. the animal science students get a call that a wild bull is out on the run through lincoln. again, police are on scene with lights and sirens blasting. it took about 9 police cars that "boxed her in" and waited for the animal sciene kids to bring a trailer. one of the cops said, "man, im glad you guys are here, this ones starting to get pretty wound up." with that we walked up to her and slipped a halter right on her and walked her into the trailer. the cops were like how'd you do that??? to which a buddy of mine replied " we aren't a bunch of idiots." hada good laugh about it.

the next day in the student newspaper, there was a front page article all about this wild animal that escaped and ran a much around lincoln, my brother needed a registered name for the heifer, thus "Wurtz's Front Paige 599R" was the fit.

story #2
mom got a call a while ago that cows were out, so speeding on her way to the situation, get pulled over by a county mounty, gives her a warning for speeding (i guess cows are out is a good excuse?) just to find out that they werent our cows
