I try to call and let the owners know they have cows out. If they are someone who doesn't put their cattle in I call the Sherrif. There was a woman killed on highway 24 North of here this summer when they swerved to miss some cattle in the road. If I have cows out I want to know. If I am in an area I don't know the locals I call the Sherriff and let them find them. Better safe than sorry.
