I have swath control on a GS2 and I think it works great. I don't think it is recommended on a planter with just SF1 signal. I also have it on a sprayer and like it there as well. Both of mine are running SF2 signal. Sprayer was SF1 last year and I thought it worked fine also. Like someone said need to have on and off look ahead times set properly. I believe there is a chart that will give you the times to enter depending on speed of travel. Here are some things to look at.("http://salesmanual.deere.com/sales/salesmanual/en_NA/ams/2010/feature/swath_control_pro/mapping_adjustable_overlap.html"); ("http://salesmanual.deere.com/sales/salesmanual/en_NA/ams/2010/feature/grc_scp/compatibility_planter_seeder.html"); Here is chart for setting times. http://stellarsupport.deere.com/en_US/support/pdf/Swath_OnOff_TimeMatrix.pdf I will third the rec to check with AgExpress. I just got a display back from dealer (warranty) and it had AgExpress sticker on it. I too think they should stand behind it but they are tightening up like everyone else. I really think you should be happy with the swath control-sounds like maybe somethings not set properly? You might ask to speak with territory rep about the display. |
