I have my iphone and an Otterbox. I did have to take a round file to the bottom of the case. It opened it just enough for all of my plugs to work without getting a bunch of dust in there. There is a big difference between 3G and edge. Man I love 3G. Itunes is a pain, I am still debating on jailbreaking or not at this point.
