From what I understand, the antennas on the 1000 are built in, the externals are just the receivers for the internals, if that is what you are also saying, good.
I have both but have not been in the field yet since version 2 allowed the second one to be used, looking forward to it when needed. there is an extra cost to unlock the second antenna or possibly two costs.
