I agree...crude is a key to decent economy...that is why the Chinese are going to Africa and other places to make friends to have cheaper fuel...

Question...do you guys think biofuels and biomass production have a chance in the short term...seems that you could not make enough to make it viable...go up to 15% blend would still take a lot of ground. The cellulose stuff does not pay enough to produce at the time...and people won't give it up if they can afford the crude. Same with electricity...pellets are to expensive to replace coal and you cannot make enough because of the number of acres it uses...seems efficiency is the biggest game in town at the moment...mass transit does not even catch on here..thoughts
