Highland Center, in Southeast Iowa | I was counting on the same type of situation........only how to haul all of the traditional Thanksgiving dinner out to the field...probably 2-3 locations.... and have it in any kind of edible condition, because I knew none of the guys were gonna want to shut down for anything when it's this late in the year. That was, until last Sunday when my blessed husband made an executive decision that we would stop field work and come in the house to eat Thanksgiving dinner. I was surprised, with the complete mess that this year has been with crops, but he allowed as how harvest could stop for 2 hrs while we sat down to enjoy a meal as a complete family. One more thing to be thankfull for.
