North Western Alberta
Alot of the beef here are fed BOTH. Grass and grain. So, when I go down to the Southern States, I sure find your beef to be funny tasting. Restaurants that brag about corn fed beef kinda made me think.... what the heck is wrong with this steak??? LOL Its all what you are used to I think. I have family that lives in Dallas, and has for about 15 years. They come back, and comment on how different the meat tastes..... so, half a dozon of one, six of the other.

Everyone likes to say thier area grows the best tasting beef in the world..... ALberta does, minnesota does, etc etc. Bottom line, it becomes preference, and a good cut of beef is good no matter where its from, if the animal is fed right, finished right, and CUT right. The cutting part is huge too.
