| My family and I were out in California about a year ago on a vacation and stopped at Hearst Castle and did a tour. After we were done, I was intrigued about the beef. http://www.hearstranch.com/ I bought a grass fed tri tip. When we got back to San Luis Obispo, I went to the grocery store and bought a grain fed tri tip and grilled both that night. OMG!!! No comparison, the grass fed is like eating leather. The grain fed is tender and juicy with good taste. As a matter of fact, you could cut a slice with your fork. Not the case with the grass fed.
I am spoiled being in S Dakota with some of the best beef in the world.
I learned my lesson on that side by side comparison....grain fed please. | |
