SE Minnesota | Now called CD......Clostridium Dermatitus. We get it about week 11 in hens and control with Pen also.
Keep the barns dry and pick up dead right away is the best you can do.
The mill did say they put something in the feed that may help and for 1 flock we didn't have a problem, but the last flock it came back again.
They say litter acidifiers may help also.
I hope they figure something out soon. It seems just when we start to make a little money, a new problem comes along | |
