I sure like my 3/4 Chevy. with helper overloads on it. I like the fact it's lower to the ground to get into, and I'm here to tell you with a good set of mud tires on it, that baby will really dig. If I have to bust through roads in snow. She is my first choice, just put one bale on it and away you go! No way in hell would I want duels on a feed truck, at least in my country. Also the balebed truck is my first choice to run on ice packed roads as well. That bed has just the right amount of weight in it to keep the shiny side up, and the greasy side down. I bought it for $6,000 6-7 years ago it only had 74,000 miles on it. It was a Forest Service truck, the bed never had anything put in it. I thought it was a cherry truck, tel I got it home, I got to rolling around it, and saw the right front tow hook look as if they had hooked a D-8 on it to pull it up a fire line!

I will tell one story about being stuck in the middle of BFE with one tire down in the mud. I was stuck, so I just unloaded bale, then put bale arms onto the bale and picked truck up off the ground. I then took my spare tire( that's why I mount spare on front of the truck with a trailer hitch receiver), run a chain thru it. Set tire under the wheel that was stuck. Then set truck down that spare tire, hooked chain to bumper. Got in it and gave it hell. Pulled right out, I then went around the other side of mud hole and loaded bale up. Sure saved a lot of walking that day!
