Subject: Got an iPhone

High Springs, Florida
It is very nice. Those folks at Apple think like real human beings. It is very intuitive. I like the Home button, makes life simple.

Couple of funny things though. I've only had this for a day, so, I am not sure about the battery life. Corporate folks said to leave the GPS off or it will drain the battery fast. Oh, the battery. It's sealed in, you can't change it, so no HD battery options. No spare battery if it goes dead.

Mine has the 32GB of memory. Nice except, there is no removable memory card. So........if you want to transfer stuff back and forth to your PC's or laptops, you HAVE to use iTunes. A pain.

I bought an "Otter Box", a really nice protective case and holster. Makes the iPhone damn near bulletproof. Except.........the opening for the charger cord ONLY fits the original iPhone charging cord supplied by Apple. They gave me two aftermarket charging cords and neither will fit in the opening that the Otter Box has for the charging/tether port. Grrrrr!!! So, if I need to charge it in the vehicle, it has to come out of the Otter Box, with the cord I have. I don't know if Apple makes a vehicular charging cord. If they do, I am sure it's expensive.
