| I don't think the argument is "safe or unsafe". I think Salatins argument is more about informed choice. If someone wants to buy raw milk, and knows the risks, he wants them to be able to.
How safe is that salad sitting in the grocery store with the USDA stamp of approval? Do you know where it came from and when it was removed from the field, who handled it in processing and packaging?
His stance is that you SHOULD know the answers to those questions. You should have the right to look the producer in the eye when you purchase your food. It makes both sides of the transaction safer, whatever the foodstuff may be.
