Eastern Ontario | Got a 5 month old golden retreiver that drools excessivley. Only done this lately. His fur is all wet from laying in his puddles. Dog seems his normal self. Went to the vet last saturday and they couldn't find anything. Took blood sample and it came back normal. Took some X-rays and nothing there either. Can't imagine him getting close to anything that would harm him. We gave him a bath a few hours before the symptoms showed up. We used an oatmeal pet shampoo for sensitive skin to wash him. I'm thinking it could be that, but how long can this last. It's been 5 days now. Mouth seems fine. Nothing stuck or swollen. Any ideas?
