Southeast Colorado
Since I WANT to be bullish this market, I understand and want to believe what you are saying. However it seems as though I hear so many stories of the big yields and knowing how the weather was, I tend to believe them. So, even if you take 10% off for test weight, you still end up with an above average yield. Even at 180 bu/ac - 18 bu/ac would give you 162 bu/ac. When it comes to quality, now that's a whole different issue. Sad thing is that I'm afraid it will only hurt corn prices. When the wheat crop comes in with poor quality it makes it much harder to export. Anyway, where do you stand as far as % of your crop sold? How much are you taking your own advice to heart? Anyone else can obviously chime in as well.
