Lander, WY | I think that's way overpriced, but it would be functional if you didn't have far to go from stacks to cattle.
Neighbor has a Chevy C50 on propane with a Deweze on it. I've helped feed and it works very well. He keeps chains on the single rears all the time. Propane starts easy when cold and is cheaper to run than gas or diesel, and with three bales on the back and chains, it doesn't have any problem moving around in snow. Not the fastest rig, but faster than a tractor, cheaper than a 1 ton pickup, and I doubt he ever wears it out... | |
