| Seems we have thrown up a lot of ethanol plants in the last couple of years. We have overproduction of ethanol, not hogs. Funny how mandates and subsidies distort markets. We subsidize the overproduction of corn, and then subsidize the new, sexy consumer of that overproduction at the expense of the traditional end users. It is hard to make long-term business decisions in such an environment. Livestock production will leave this environment.
