se montana | I had the vet come out and trich test all my bulls yesterday. I've done this before in the spring with no positive results, but I know I have something wrong going on, and one of my vets said that we have a lot better chance of picking up a positive in the fall as in the spring. The reason being that they are a lot closer to coming off of the cow now. I pulled bulls Aug 7th.
Got all my dries sold this week. Averaged $420/hd take home so I guess they did alright. I'd much rather have those cows bred and be selling $1200 bred hfrs instead. Oh well. That's business. It's very seldom easy or profitable is it?
