You are absolutely correct, sbark. When the masses are fearful (terrified) of what Washington and the Fed may do or if they will even have a job,long term, they are going to go into a defensive mode with any spare change they might have.
Just hope the powers that be don't have a fire sale on credit. You know that old "you can't afford not to borrow" mentality, once again.
