New Mexico | perhaps add some organic iodine to your white salt.
Drop the mineral, extra shots etc.
Keep in mind, the salt your Dad used WAS iodized. Current salt is not, unless iodine is added at the farm.
The afore was from my Vet today ( told him about your symptoms ).
Figuring here is that your cattle may have somewhat of a total system imbalance due to low iodine.
This makes it less possible for their system to in fact fully utilize ( recognize in the case of vaccine ) the vaccines your administering.
First thing my Vet said...it sounds like an iodine imbalance ( that's the reason your sominous vaccine is not working ).
btw, copper deficiency also was mentioned ( read your mineral tag ), but iodine was mentioned first and several times.
