SW MN and Gold Canyon AZ | You still haven't told me how to raise my yields 20%.
Because I use multiple location data , the weather in all those locations is different, so odds are I will have that environment somewhere. So if a variety does good in all those environments it will have a higher chance of being successfull next year , a dog one year is always a dog.
Don't worry I always make sure the families are different on varieties selected, spreads risk.
Soybeans are easy to pick, in my opinion.
If the variety is a great yielder it more than likely has a the defensive traits needed. If it is weak on something it will kick it self out of the system automatically by being lower yielding at some of the locations thus not making the cut.
If the system didn't work then breeders would not be making gains on yield.
I am using the same system breeders use, its not full proof but its better than making ones own subjective criteria by just looking at products in the field. | |
