Possibly the open cow problem mentioned earlier this fall ( by You I think ) IS also related to this droopey ear calf syndrome your treating for now.
With some luck you could end up curing 2 birds with one throw so to speak on this.
I'll ask my Vet too. On cattle the vet down here has seen just about everything over the years.
