| Ron, first of all you did offer Ed a place to do some testing... I agree with that... But you set the parameters in such a way that only 7bpa could be determined a winning outcome... You "seem" determined to make sure this product or products fail in my mind... To me you have an axe to grind with Ed or someone ?? I don't know and don't really care..... To me if someone is going to take that challenge from you why would they submit to all your regulations then not be able to publish yields, put up a sign, get you to sign off on them etc ??? Why if the product performs the way it's intended to would you not endorse it if you are using it in your own operation after testing it ???
To me it seemed in this whole post you had a real axe to grind with Ed.... If you do thats ok but don't be doing it on here..... For that matter I don't post much on here but do read the post's on here quite a bit and you seem to be one of the one's who are always negative about individuals, products, or comapanies all the time.... I don't know you nor do I care to and sure wouldn't care to do business with you if your attitude in the business world is like it is on here.... You seem to have an attitude on here that is You win/ the people you do business with lose or at best breakeven.. My goal in life is to help my customers make a profit so that I can hopefully make one too... If I don't help my growers make money I won't be in business long and I must be doing something right as I have been in business for 30 yrs... Now with that being said I don't think that any grower should do things that hurt his bottom line.... But if you are not constantly evaluating new systems, new ideas, pushing yourself to drive yields and profits forward then you are missing the boat and someone else will pass you by,,,, I have no use for anyone who will sit back and complain about someone who is doing something to get better while that person sits and does nothing..... That to me is what you seem to lurk in the shadows here and do as I read some of your posts..... You seem to complain a lot.. Winkle posted that he seen something that may be a good thing didn't endorse it in my opinion just mentioned it... You jumped him about it and started a long thread about it.... I say to you this, start doing some of the on farm, real world, testing that some of the other folks in agriculture are doing to help growers better their operations and start putting it out here for discussion or keep your mouth shut and be respectful to the ones that do....
As far as people who don't put their name and locations on this site... I must have missed something when I signed on here in 2007 because I didn't see where it was the law that I had too.. I choose not too.. But for your needing to know I am in IL not too far from you ...... | |
