Good question,
I think that the important thing is to mix the dried and undried grain so that it all gets dried.
This is one version of efficiency.
What is close to the heat gets warmer and dries faster.
Batch driers
Bin driers
Cross flow driers
Continuous flow driers
Concurrent flow driers
What other terms am I looking for?


Mixed flow dryer!
