| Our 846 was the most fuel efficient tractor ever, our White 135 burnt more fuel than the 846. We used to pull 40’ of air seeder at 8 gallons a hour, now we pull 60’ and burn 25-30 gallons a hour. We still own this 846 with about 6000 hours on now and have not spent $1000 on parts since new excluding filters and oil. Yes they are miserable to shift especially the range shifter but they are bulletproof. The 9282 will shift better but I doubt that it will have the power and lugging ability of the L10. | |
