Cordele, GA | It’s no question US farmers just never accepted the Massey Ferguson brand in high horsepower tractors. Yes there is spotty dealer presence and support across the landscape , but what if instead of MF , AGCO would have developed their tractors as Allis Chalmers and kept them orange , how much market share would they have today in high HP tractors ?. And yeah I know they had orange AGCO Allis , but just not the same , AC had and still does have brand equity and significant fan base
