| On the red side of CNH, the only model I know of with this setup is the Tier 3 Steiger 485 tractor. It was dropped when TierIVa (Def models) models replaced them in 2011. New Holland used it on the T9050(blue version of the 485 Steiger), CR9090 combine, and on some self-propelled forage harvesters IIRC.
I was told by an FPT guy that one of the reasons this was used at the time was to help lower NOx emissions on the higher HP Iveco/Cursor engines of that vintage. | |
