you can get a USB-to-Ethernet adapter, if needed.
A few years ago I had to hook up my in-laws computer to a cable modem, and the network port on the modem was already taken. It had an open USB port, though; that's when I learned that you can use a USB connection for broadband internet. Never knew that before.
