southern MN
Dad was too ultra conservative that the 70s and 80s were just a sad time watching the neighborhood go to heck as other neighborhoods did as well, not a threatening time for us personally.

In Ag class I remember our homework was to figure out 99 year and ‘no principle’ loan tables. I kinda wondered what the future is if that is what our economics learnin’ was going to be? I guess the no principle loan purchases have been replaced by renting most of your farm land, about the same deal?

I started a story, but enough read here that would know my neighborhood and I best not. Banks were in trouble, but they sure figured out sneaky ways to put themselves first.
