I have many neighbors and friends that have been put in a real tight spot financially because of this mess. I am acquainted with all the parties involved but don't have any inside knowledge but it looks to me like the bank did just as you guys are suggesting. Dropped the hammer right when they had the most leverage and the ranchers had the least.
