I wouldn't jump the gun and buy it when it first comes out. If Vista is working for you, then don't change. No need to spend more money than you have to. Wait and see what the first reviews will be to make up your mind.

What you would gain from Windows 7 is speed and touch screen capability. ( I can just see someone eating a bag of chips and using the computer at the same time. What a mess that will be. )

Windows7 uses XP engine with Vista user interface.
