That’s the one and only one thing we do miss about being down here. If they were older I’d gladly pay to fly them down here and I’m sure when they get older hopefully that’ll happen. It does help that we try to FaceTime them once a week, it’s not as good as seeing them in person but sure helps. I told Karen before we came down here if she wants she can fly home for a short time to see them but so far she hasn’t pursued it.
I think it really helps we are so active down here doing numerous things we don’t have time to really miss them. I can honestly say I was a little hesitant about being gone for this much time but we’re both loving it. Being semi-retired as I call it is great :-). | |
