Wife and I went probably 10 years ago. Stayed at the Argonaut Hotel down on Fishermans Wharf. Lots of restaurants, shops, ships and tourist things to do there. Lots of fresh seafood. Went on a city tour, trolley cars and Chinatown. Did the Alcatraz tour which I really liked. Also took a day wine tour to Sonoma where we stopped at a few wineries.
