Austin MN | Primary arms makes a 4-14x44 scope that's starts around $300 and has pretty good glass for the price point. Not as nice as say a schmidt and bender or a us optics but good enough for a 5.56 hunting rifle.

Another option I would consider is swfa super sniper. They have straight power scopes starting at 6x up to 20x in a 42mm lens. They all cost 300 new. They also have a 3-15x42 but that will start at $800.
I personally own 3 straight 12 power swfa's. For the price point the quality is impossible to beat. Excellent glass, perfect turret tracking and a nice reticle. I do long range target shooting so I'm not concerned about field of view so I like a little more magnification. Hope this helps. Happy hunting | |
