Started to watch the country awards but had to turn it off.....sad to see country music as I knew it gone.
Probably shouldn't joke about this because I have all the respect in the world for the talent the guy had, but apparently Roy Clark watched it too and it killed him...
I didn't watch it. I cannot get into the new country music sound, I can't say it's bad but just not my thing. I do like Stapleton and a few Eric Church songs but I don't really consider them country. I don't really care for the personalities of the singers either, they seem like a bunch of posers who are trying too hard to be cool.
